Angus's day starts badly because his mum and dad are in the middle of an argument. Mum storms out to her garden party so Dad takes Angus and the dog, Sputz, to the tip. But Sputz gets stuck in a pipe and ends up on the local news and Mum's party was a gardening party - a dog of a day.
